Tiger/Peerless UPDATE. A new TigerSoft/Peerless update
has been released today.
The new Tiger's update has the new Sell S12. It has the
new QuickSilver table which is produced for any directory's stocks.
It should work well with the stocks in LEVERAGE, HIGHIP21,
MAXCP, MINCP, REDSELL and NEAR65. With this QuickSilver
table displayed, you point the mouse at the symbol and click Graph.
The Peercomm will also allow you to get stock data again from Dial Data.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
8/14/2015 Peerless
remains on Red Sell 12*s. The NYSE A/D Line
is still falling. But the Hourly OBV-DISI Line is clearly in
an
uptrend. So, probably the DJI will rally a little, probably next to 17600.
This level is where it
suddenly reversed at the beginning of this past week.
So that should be resistance.
SPY will rally more. QQQ's prospects are uncertain.
There
are a few HIGH-UPPCT and BULLISH MAXCP stocks
shown here that should do well until September. Hold an
assortment of BEARISH MINCP stocks short. These
keep slipping downward.
With the leveraged ETFs and major ETFs abide by the 5-day
ma trends, especially where Closing Power and the levels of
IP21 confirm the trend or trend-change. See below.
Hourly DJIA
DJIA
The SP-500 is stronger. It has outperformed the DJI by 2.1% over
the last 50-trading days. The Closing Power for SPY has been broken.
Expect it to again challenge its falling 65-dma. SPY's OBV-Line continues
to lag. So, its rally will likely lack enough propellant to make a new
high.
Higher openings have brought a total of 6.88 SPY points over the
last 65 trading days. SPY has closed a total of 7.44 points off its
opening price over the last 65-trading days. It's hard to think that
SPY will be able to advance powerfully unless volume rises sharply
on any rally in here. I doubt if the FED can do anything to create
an SPY take-off past the flat 210-213 resistance. I think they have their
hands full now just avoiding a bigger sell-off, especially if OIL, Chinese
stocks and Developing countries' stocks start another leg down.
QQQ has outperformed the DJI by 3.3% over the last 65 trading days,
But it is now having a problem rallying up off its rising 65-dma. Its
Closing Power is falling. This reflects the lengthy decline in its
biggest component, AAPL as well as the continuing weakness
in biotechs, whose rising price up-channel has been broken.
Finding The Leaders Left
Using Tiger's "HIUPPCT". Group
We have always looked for industry groups whose price action is particularly
strong.
It is not reassuring about the economy right now that the three main Auto Parts'
Stores' stocks are all making new highs. AAP, AZO and ORLY.
Many, many
Americans are studying youtube videos, buying imported auto parts and
trying to
fix their own older cars.
Certain Tiger directories are still showing stocks that are making new highs,
though that number is now down daily to between only 1% and 2% of all
NASDAQ and NYSE stocks. Breakouts into yearly new highs is still
the simplest way to find stocks that will advance somewhat higher.
But this is risky. When they become over-extended, they can suddenly
violently reverse their directions. So, I would advise using other
Tiger groupings. The Bullish MAXCPs I provide each night. And the
best of these do move higher, though sometimes following a zig-zag path.
A different approach is to employ the Tiger Screens to the HIUPPCT group.
These are the stocks that have risen, at least, 55% of the time, day-by-day,
this past year. If they are above their 65-dma, show rising
Closing and
Opening Powers and high Accumulation, these are the stocks
institutions are
still willing to buy because they foresee much higher prices, despite all
their misgivings about the general economy. If you study these stocks, you
will quickly see that they have a particularly high percent of the biggest
winners,
stocks rising , say, +250% for the past year. I think we should buy these
when they make new highs or successfully test their rising 65-dma and have
their Closing Powers turn up. I think you can also buy them when they show
a
Tiger Buy B17 (IP jump) or a Buy B19 (they have not closed below their
21-day ma for 44 straight days, provided the IP21 is above +.05. (To run
this
UP% Ranking with any directory use Peercomm + Peerless-2015 + Ranking

Right now the following stocks qualify:
SKX (a very Bullish MAXCP),
PKB (Building and Construction
ETF, something which a new Public Works'
Infrastructure Program from either a President Trump or Sanders would
greatly boost),
ORLY (Just paid them $50 for a bottle of AirConditioning
refrigerant for car),
DTO - SCO - DWTI (leveraged short ETFs on
Oil),
TREE (see Bullish MAXCPs).
TPX (77.77, Would make flat topped breakout
on move move above 78 and
AAP (AutoParts Store).
Bearish Seasonality
Though the third year in the 4-year Presidential Cycle is normally quite
bullish, the median decline at some point from the DJI's peak to a
September or October bottom is 10% since 1945. So far,
the DJI has only fallen 4% from its July peak.
