Tiger/Peerless UPDATE. A new TigerSoft/Peerless update
has been released today.
The new Tiger's update has the new Sell S12. It has the
new QuickSilver table which is produced for any directory's stocks.
It should work well with the stocks in LEVERAGE, HIGHIP21,
MAXCP, MINCP, REDSELL and NEAR65. With this QuickSilver
table displayed, you point the mouse at the symbol and click Graph.
The Peercomm will also allow you to get stock data again from Dial Data.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
8/13/2015 Peerless
remains on Red Sell 12*s. The NYSE A/D Line
is still falling.
Daily volume on up-days is not impressive. The
World Markets
remain weak, as is Oil. It has to be very significant
that China has devalued its currency for a
third straight day.
This is immediately having a bearish impact on many of the
DJI-30 multi-nationals.
The SP-500 and NASDAQ are stronger. But that may not last.
Further weakness by the DJI, especially a drop by it below
the exported support at 17000, will take a psychological toll
on the confidence these other indexes need. So will the
gloomy world economic outlook and the FED's delay in telling
the markets what it will do next month. We see this in the weak
OBV Lines for the SP-500 and OEX. Bulls just are generally not willing
to buy very aggressively. The few exceptions stand out and
do get more attention because they are so scarce. Trade them
carefully and quickly.
Today 4 very high Accumulation stocks surged to new highs.
Special situations like this can be bought, even aggressively on
breakouts, provided one is ready to sell after a small 10%-15%
gain or when their Closing Power trend is broken.
See
www.tigersoftware.com/MAXMIN/maxmin/8-13/Rbullish.htm.
Bearish Seasonality
Though the third year in the 4-year Presidential Cycle is normally quite
bullish, the median decline at some point from the DJI's peak to a
September or October bottom is 10% since 1945. So far,
the DJI has only fallen 4% from its July peak.

What To Do?
Our Bearish MINCP stocks continue to decline. Hold some of these
short. Sell long positions either when their prices are very over-extended
and break their Closing Power up-trends or when they close below their 65-dma
and their Accumulation Index is below 0. Hold long NUGT. It ought
to double. Gold should keep rising with all this talk of currency
wars
and if the FED announces it will not be raising rates in September. Use
the 5-day
ma pivot-point with the long or short ETFs to see when to close them out.
Watch to see if new lows are made by OIL, YINN and
the Tiger Index of Foreign ETFs. This will be quite bearish.

QUICKSILVER RANKING OF LEVERAGED ETFS BY 5-day MA AROC (at extremes) When both Opening and Closing Power are falling, it is reliably bearish. This is true now for SOXL, DIA, AAPL, IWM, TNA and OIL. Note that only OIL's 5-dma is falling at a rate of more than -300%. Short it, but close the short out on Friday if it closes above its 5-day ma pivot, 8.46. Today it closed at 8.12 C:\dji-30 - 08/13/15 5DAROC Symbol Last 5-dma Pivot Change .............................................................................................. QUICKSILVER RANKING OF LEVERAGED ETFS BY 5-day MA AROC (at extremes) I expect NUGT to turn up from its rising 5-dma. GASL should should do the same. Both appear vastly over-sold. Successful tests of a very fast rising 5-day mvg. averages should be good buying opportunities. When both Opening and Closing Power are rising, consider buying the ETF near its rising 5-day ma, but close the trading position out if it closes below its pivot-point.
