how to read a stock chart like a pro. Successful Market Timing 1. Most mutual funds' performances are compared with the Standard & Poors' 500 Index. And most stocks and fund go up and down with the general market. That is why it is so important to be in the market when our Peerless Stock Market Timing system is on a major Buy but out of it when it is on a major Sell. Since 1965, this would have made an investor +17.5% per year in the DJI-30, compared to a +7.5% buying and holding. Peerless has been back-tested to 1965. Here is the current chart. Up-Arrows tell you when to Buy. Down-Arrows tell you when to Sell. The signals are numbered, so that you can see their track record since 1965. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Insider-Informed" Big-Money Buying 2. When Peerless gives a major Buy, we recommend buying stocks that show intensive big-money, insider-informed Buying. Our Tiger Accmulation Index usually shows big bulges of Insider-Inspired Accumulation. The stock below showed a surge of (blue) big money accumulation in November, as Tiger measures it. The stock rose sharply afterwards from 12 to more than 45 now. TigerSoft specializes in finding stocks like this. Because of the accuracy of our Peerless Market Timing system, it is much safer to buy individual stocks than it would otherwise be. RCCC - Rural Cellular ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sell before The Next Bear Market 3. At some point our Peerless market timing system will give a major Sell on the general market, just as it did in early October 1987, just before the 33% Crash that immediately followed then. Our original studies of market history shows us when a major decline like that which took place in October 1987 is about to occur. It is important to understand that we called the market's top in October 1987 REAL-TIME, based on William Schmidt's 1981 book, "Peerless Stock Market Timing". You can see the entire Peerless track record from 1965 to 2007 here. The chart from 1987-1988 is shown below. Notice, we also called the bottom after- wards, as it was taking place. (With the DJIA now up a record 51 months without a 10% correction, investors should not, in our opinion, blindly take a "buy and hold" approach. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
