                SAN DIEGO STOCK's PERFORMANCE
                       since June 1010

wpeC140.jpg (3953 bytes)    WHERE TO GO FIRST FOR
                  BIOTECH JOBS IN SAN DIEGO

                              3/26/2011   (C) 2011 Wm.Schmidt, Ph.D.

We look back to June 30th, 2010 to measure the performance of
San Diego's stocks to see if we can help some people we know
get a new job.  We start at the last  "reversing" buy signal from our
Peerless Stock Market Timing system.   There has not been a major
market sell since then; the  DJI has risen more than 25% in this
period.   San Diego's companies' stocks are mostly lagging, but
the ones that are not are definitely better prospects for finding a
job than the ones whose stocks are falling.

Stock investors, read our TigerSoft and Peerless documentation
on using our Insider Trading Charts with automatic Buys and Sells.

We recommend looking at the stocks in your area if you are looking for a job.  The
stocks that are going up tend to be companies that are expanding and hiring.  We also
suggest you show your interviewer our TigerSoft chart of their company.  They will
probably be interested in the buys and sells   it shows the optimum trading system
They will be intrigued at how professional traders whip the stock up and down.  They
will be also want to know whether the stock shows Insider Buying or Selling
(See Tiger Accumulation Index) and Professional Buying or Selling (See Tiger Closing Power).
These lie at the heart of our Tiger trading tools.  See our discussion of how
                 we measure insider buying. "

  Wall Street versus Main Street

San Diego's stocks are underperforming the much watched Dow Jones Industrial
Average.   Wall Street's blue chips are doing much better than Main Street's smaller
companies.   See this in the chart below. There have been many criticisms lodged
against Wall Street and Washington for subsidizing the very rich, big Wall Street banks
and the biggest multinational corporations while largely neglecting the rest of America,
                 the poor, the unemployed.

US experiencing uneven job growth across states

The Tiger Index of San Diego Stocks is an index, where companies are weighted by
the trading value of their stocks.  As you can see above,  San Diego's recovery as viewed by this
Tiger index is lagging badly and not even making yearly new highs as the Dow Jones Industrial
Average is.  The DJI is up 25% since last June.  Only 16 of the 56 San Diego stocks we have
studied are up this much.  See the table below.

"Where is the bailout for Main Street? Where are the jobs?", Washington policy makers.
How long must Americans wait for private sector jobs?  Clearly the rich need to be taxed
a lot more, as they were until Reagan and public sector jobs must be created to fill the
job gap.  Unfortunately, the most Democrats are every bit as bad as Republicans.  We argue
that Obama has made a deal with Wall Street and Bernanke of the Fed to run up stock prices
for their campaign contributions next year, but the "trickle down" is barely felt here.  I have
been saying this was the best reason to buy stocks since March 2009.  But it has not helped
create jobs very much.  Manufacturing jobs are being sent overseas with the tax subsidized
bailouts for banks, brokerages and the big multinational companies that make up the Dow

                 Jones average.

Of course, San Diego will always attract tourists and refugees from cold weather.  That
helps hold up the real estate market and local banks.  But good paying jobs, as in
manufacturing and biotech, are not sufficient for the well educated population here.
Military suppliers, credit enforcers, banks, oil investing firms and data storage providers
each have representation in the top performing stocks of San Diego.  Biotechs appear
most often, reflecting the number of such companies here.

If you are a San Diego job seeker, always first look at the companies whose stocks
are doing the best.  Print out the charts of the best performing stocks here.  And go to these
companies' employment offices.   If you want to learn about trading, talk to us and come to
our free monthly seminars for Tiger  Users.   We always are looking for salespeople, too.
And we pay a hefty finders fee to users who get us new Tiger users.

Most important, look for the company's chart below for evidence of insider buying, as
TigerSoft measures it and are up at least as much as DJIA.  See in charts below those cases
where Accumulation Index rises above the critical threshold.  If insiders are buying, the chances
are good they believe the company has a good future.  If the Blue Closing Power agrees, the
                 stock must also rise.
