Welcome to Peerless Stock Market Timing

Dear Peerless User:

Thanks very much for purchasing Peerless Stock Market Timing.
Back-tested to 1965, its automatic Buy and Sell signals on the Dow
Jones Industrial Average are consistently very profitable.  This is
because they capture some vital clues regarding cycles of fear and
greed, as well as fluctuations of boredom and excitement, among
the mass of investors.
We believe this is the best software anywhere
at any price for signalling the fluctuations of the DJI. We will do all we
can to help you make money with this software.  But as in all matters
financial, there can be no iron-clad assurances of profit.

Peerless was originally written in 1981, based on hand-entered data
from 1972 to 1981.  Since then thousands of Peerless users have
gained from its signals, whether they trade or invest in mutual funds,
stocks, options or futures. It is a testimonial to the integrity of the
software that all its original signals have survived the test of time
since.  But we have also learned a few things along the way and
a number of new Buy and Sell signals have been added when they
test well for the whole period since 1965.  You have been provided
the data this 1965.  A little experimentation will let you see
the strength of our Buy and Sell Signals.

You will be able to get the necessary index data to run the Peerless
software right from us.  Use the Peercomm program and use
the Internet button and pick the selection for getting the current
index and stock data.  (The stock data may be obtained for our
TigerSoft Stock program from the same site.)  A little experi-
mentation will let you quickly see the profitability our signals can
offer you.  The data is free for 3 months.  After that you may
need a name and password.  The cost of the this data for a year
is $150.  Call (858)-571-3115 to arrange for data after 3 months.

It is possible to update the Peerless index data by hand.  You will
use the EDIT button from Peercomm and then specifiy DJIA.
Each day you will need to accurately enter each trading day's
DJI's theoretical high and low, close, NYSE up volume and
NYSE down volume in millions and the NYSE advances and
declines.  Don NOT enter the "trading" high and low of the DJI.
They are different from the theoretical high and low, we use.
The Wall Street Journal and Investors' Daily are good sources.

We are constantly reviewing past data and considering how well
are our signals are working.  The Help routines give you many
ways to back-test our signals, too.  Our Elite Stock Professionals'
website offers this continuing research and updates to the software.
A subscription to this service is $575 for a year.

Please read further.

work.

                                   Peerless Users' Choices

At the Peercomm screen PEERLESS-DJI users will only want to
use the buttons shown below:

Charts-Signals - to go to charting program.
Internet - Connecting to get data.
Edit - for editing Index data.

Bring Your Data Up To Date on Line

After Registration, You will want to bring your Index Data up-to-date.
Use the Peercomm Internet Button.  Select the first item.  If you have
www.tigersoft.com/0123  there, be advised that this has changed.
You need to register your software to get the current version.  The
charge for data is $150 for a year.

Open the file named "PEERmmdd", where "mm"= month and "dd"= day of last day in files,
You will be sent index data for the DJI, SP-500, OEX, NASDAQ, Value Line and NYSE.
Weekly DJI data and Hourly DJI data is also usually provided.

Producing Charts With Buy and Sell Signals

To produce a charts of the DJI:
Go to PEERCOMM + click on button "Charts-Signals":
Then Click on the  "PEERLESS: Daily DJI".  You must have
registered your copy of Peerless and opened the Registration Link.)

Then pick the Year You Want To Graph.  The current data is always "DATA".
You may easily study other years.  Use "DATAYY" where "YYYY" = the year, like 2001.
And you  may graph the data from the middle of a year to the
|middle of the next year by entering "DATY1Y2",
where "Y1" is the first year and "Y2" is the second year.
For example "DATA8182" or "DATA9900" would show those
periods of time.  Since it take 3 months for the programs
to have enough data, to show the January and February signals, you
will need to enter the middle year dates
.  To see the signals for
January 1989, please use "DATA8889".  The same works for the other
daily indices we provide.

With a chart of the DJI on the screen, place the Buy and Sell signals
on the screen by pulling down the sub-menu under "Signals(1)" and
choosing  the third item: "DJI Intermediate-Term: Trading Range Mode-3"
The chart has a set of bands 3.5% above and below a 21-day mvg.avg.
We use 21 day smoothing a lot because that is the typical number of trading
days in a month.  To see the power of the signals you have placed on the screen, go to
"Operations" and choose "See What Happens to 10,000" using these

After placing a DJI chart on the screen, you can do many things.
User Choices after Placing a Graph of the DJI on Your Screen.
Experiment.   Know that you can always restore the original graph
by picking that item under the sub-menu "Operations" at the top of
the chart. You can also redraw the bar chart without signals from there, too.

                                    Charting the SP-500
Now click the "X" at the top right of your screen and go back to the
Tiger screen.  Now graph the SP-500.  Click the button "Short-Term
Indexes
"
. Pick "SP-500".   Under Signals(1), superimpose the DJI signals
by selecting the first item in that pull-down menu.  You may get either
all the signals superimposed, or just the major signals.  In a Presidential
Election Year, superimpose all the signals.  At other times, start by using
just the Major Signals.  Then go to "Operaions" and "What Happens to $10,000"
to see the power of the software.  You might may also chart the  OEX (SP-100),
NYSE, NASDAQ, Value Line.  The Special OEX is for Options' Traders.
We no longer provide Hourly DJIA data.  You may choose to make these
entries yourself.

To produce the best results on the SP-500, first place a Peerless chart of
the SP-500 on the screen, as shown in the paragraph above.  With the
SP-500 chart on the screen, go to the sub-menu "Signals1" at the top of the
page and click "Superimpose DJI Saved Signals" + "NO" and then
from the same sub-menu "Superimpose NASDAQ saved Signals." + "NO".
The reversing signals major Buys' and Sells,  produce excellent results on the
SP-500.  There are two additional rules to be remembered here.  An "S9"
should nullify the "B8" if the B8 follows an S9 within a month.  And a "B8"
nullifies S9s for four months, so long as key support has not been violated.

The "Saved (History) signals" are stored in the data downloaded from our website.
But you may create them yourself.  To update the history files of DJI
and NASDAQ signals, place a current chart of the DJI or the NASDAQ
on the screen and under "Operations", choose "Trading Results: All Signals" and then
click the top of the resulting page, where it says "Update Trades History File: DJI or
NASDAQ."   Do not use this procedure with non-current data.

print them out.

Choosing Correct Market Mode

Reasons for Switching Modes: 1965-2005

The HELP Routines in the software will explain the historical power
of each signal.
From the Tiger Screen use the Help pull-down menu at the
top.  Peerless-DJI users will want to use first four items.

With a graph on the screen, use the HELP sub-menu to learn about
the signals, terms and concepts and see some important examples.
