Reversing Buy and Sell Signals Superimposed on SP-500: 1970-2004 (This will updated soon). These Peerless signals appear when charting the Dow Jones Industrial Average with the Peerless system and then superimposing the automatic signals on a chart of the SP-500. There were only 106 trades in 35 years, or an average of 3 a year. Being automatic, this system is very easy to follow. Results show that $100 would have grown to $89,687. No commissions or taxes are factored in and short sales would have been employed. Still, the $100 traded with these signals grew by a factor of 895 times. Meanwhile the SP-500 rose by a factor of 12 from the beginning of 1970 to the end of 2004... Peerless improved an investors trading result over buying and holding by a factor of 74.6! |
